Policy Creation

The Board of Directors shall develop new policies and procedures to respond to changing circumstances. When considering the development of new policy, the Board will consider whether a new policy is required, or whether amendment of existing policy or consolidation of related policies best addresses the matter at hand. All policy drafting will ensure consistent formatting through use of a standard policy template and the use of plain language. Drafting will also ensure alignment with related policy documents and where possible correlated policies will be filed consecutively to permit a more comprehensive point of reference.
