After a lengthy bargaining process, AMAPCEO members at Public Health Ontario (PHO) have overwhelmingly voted in favour of a new tentative agreement.
98% of voting members at PHO voted to accept this new agreement, which will run from April 1, 2015 to March 31, 2018.
The contract includes a retroactive 4.2% wage increase over three years, and important wins that include improvements to bereavement leave and faster permanent conversion for contract employees.
Congrats to elected Bargaining Team Members Anne Winter and Rachel Higgins and to AMAPCEO staff members Matthew Hill and Gabriel Mehedintu for their hard work securing this contract.
Preparations for the next PHO contract negotiations are already underway, with elections for Bargaining Team members expected to take place in the fall.
