AMAPCEO Submits Brief Commenting on Proposed Ontario Retirement Pension Plan

AMAPCEO President Dave Bulmer has submitted a brief to the Ministry of Finance commenting on the proposal to establish an Ontario Retirement Pension Plan (ORPP).  The AMAPCEO submission welcomes the establishment of the ORPP, arguing that if the plan is to be truly effective in ensuring that dignified retirements are available to all Ontarians and in facilitating labour market mobility, the ORPP must be:

• A universal plan;
• Mandatory; and
• Available at all employers.
