New Equity Caucus chairs announced; application re-opened for two caucuses

At its meeting last week, the Board of Directors appointed the following five representatives to sit on the Board’s reconfigured Equity Committee:
 
Asian, Arab and Latino Caucus:  Amy Wang
Black Caucus:  Elaine Brown Spencer
Disability Caucus:  Alison Griggs
LGBTQ+ Caucus:  Rachael Walisser
Women’s Caucus:  Sara Lacarte.
 
Each representative will become the Chair of her equity caucus, with each caucus to be convened shortly to elect a Vice-Chair. 
 
Applications are being re-opened for two unfilled positions on the Equity Committee:  the Indigenous Circle and the Francophone Caucus.  Interested members should draft a brief candidate statement, include it in an email and send it to Michael Mouritsen, Director of Membership Services, at mouritsen@amapceo.on.ca.
