On June 8, AMAPCEO welcomed the arrival of our new bargaining unit at the recently-established Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (FSRA). FSRA will be taking on regulatory responsibilities from the Financial Services Commission of Ontario (FSCO) and the Deposit Insurance Corporation of Ontario (DICO). AMAPCEO will represent a group of employees drawn from former staff of both FSCO and DICO.
With some limited exceptions for the former DICO group, our membership at FSRA will remain under the OPS contract until further negotiations. Thanks to AMAPCEO staff Peggy Kitching, Angela Peckford, Inessa Petersen, and Ben Rossiter for facilitating this transition. We look forward to working with all parties to ensure our FSRA membership enjoys a successful launch in their new workplace.
