Congratulations to the following four AMAPCEO members who have been appointed by the Board of Directors as Workplace Representative Mentors:
- Lina Cimarrusti (Mowat/ Hearst)
- Lee Heard (University/ Toronto South)
- Samantha Boland (Western Ontario)
- Vickie Nielsen (Northern Ontario)
They will join a mentoring team of experienced activists who will be matched to new Workplace Representatives who recently completed their training.
AMAPCEO Workplace Representatives, commonly known as stewards in other unions, are trained colleagues who advise and assist fellow members with interpretation of the collective agreement, workplace issues and the filing of a dispute.
