Congratulations to the following five AMAPCEO members who have been appointed by the Board of Directors as Workplace Representative Mentors:
- Colette Hanmore (Eastern Ontario)
- Camille Perry (GTA North)
- Jonathan Haskins (Midtown)
- Lina Cimarrusti (Mowat/ Hearst)
- Andy Stavickis (Jarvis)
They will join a mentoring team of experienced activists who are regularly matched to new Workplace Representatives as they complete their training.
AMAPCEO Workplace Representatives, sometimes known as stewards in other unions, are trained colleagues who advise and assist fellow members with interpretation of the collective agreement, workplace issues, and the filing of a dispute.
