Wednesday, December 06, 2023

AMAPCEO congratulates Cynthia Watt on her recent re-election to the position of Vice-President. Watt has served as Vice-President of AMAPCEO since January 2016 and prior to her role as Vice-President, Watt has served as Education Chapter Chair, an ERC Representative, a Workplace Representative, and a member of the Finance Committee.

Watt has been key to the union’s equity efforts, its education programming, and its ongoing revitalization of its Employee Relations Committees. To address AMAPCEO’s commitment to anti-racism, diversity, inclusion and equity (ARDIE), Watt led a working group over the past two years to build a three-year anti-racism action plan as well as an ARDIE statement.

Watt also acts as Board Liaison to fixed-term and contract workers and represents the union at several central- and Ministry-aligned Labour Relations tables.
